If you love cars, follow your nose to the 24th annual Garlic City Car Show in downtown Gilroy on Saturday, June 15, 2024. Car enthusiasts from across the state are revved up to show off their prized possessions while you enjoy lots of fun in the sun.
Located on Monterey Street in Downtown Gilroy, this popular event is free for the whole family—so come along for the ride! From classic cars and hot rods to monster trucks and futuristic electric cars, there are more than 200 unique vehicles, each with their own story to share.
In addition to all the cool cars, you’ll also enjoy also live music from local bands, fun activities for kids, and a variety of vendors selling food, beer and wine, and merchandise.

About the Garlic City Car Show
The Garlic City Car Show got its start in the year 2000, originally as a kick-off for the Gilroy Garlic Festival. The event has evolved over the years, at some points including a 5K run, a sock hop, and even a hot dog eating contest.
In 2019, the one and only Dennis Gage from My Classic Car attended and filmed for his TV show, which was broadcast to over 100 million homes.
The Garlic City Car Show is an event designed and produced by the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce to promote the community and to help build a strong local economy. Each year this show is made possible by over 50 dedicated volunteers and committee members.
