Sparking a Love for the Arts

PJIFF has been entertaining audiences for more than 15 years and was recognized by MovieMaker magazine as one of 20 Great Film Festivals for First-Time Filmmakers. The nonprofit organization promotes inclusion, diversity, and empowerment; educates people of all ages about filmmaking; and encourages everyone to “find their voice through film.”

Community engagement is a core value of the Poppy Jasper International Film Festival. Each year, during the run-up to the festival, PJIFF offers guided workshops geared to youths, millennials, mid-lifers, and older adults who come together and collaborate on short films, from start to finish. Their films are shown during the festival, and participants are recognized for their work.

The Poppy Jasper International Film Festival is an annual event produced by volunteers as part of Poppy Jasper, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
