Frank Johnson

Executive Director

Frank oversees all Visit Gilroy operations, communications, advertising, marketing, social media, and community partnerships. Frank has traveled extensively and brings over 10 years of tourism experience to his role as leader of Gilroy’s destination marketing organization. He is passionate about all that Gilroy has to offer—from wonderful foods and wines to the city’s proximity to hiking, coastal destinations, and other attractions.

Susan Childers

Welcome Center Manager

Susan has lived in Gilroy for over 25 years and previously worked at American Express, Knotts Berry Farm, Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park, and Gilroy Unified School District. She has had the “travel bug” since she was a child and has visited 33 states plus Canada, Australia, and Vietnam. She loves welcoming people from all over the world to Gilroy.
