Gilroy Gardens is hosting a special “Salute to Military Heroes” on Memorial Day Weekend. The park will be open on Saturday, Sunday and Monday (May 28, 29 & 30). Admission is FREE to all active and retired military with ID.
You’ll find red white and blue throughout the park, from festive flags to specialty food offerings and even refreshing cocktails like Watermelon Margaritas and Spiked Blackberry Lemonade. On Sunday and Monday, visit the Events Plaza to enjoy live music and fun picnic games like cornhole and horseshoes, plus gourmet hot dogs, garlic fries, and All-American desserts.
And, as if that weren’t enough fun for one weekend, Water Oasis will also be opening for the season on Saturday, May 28 to kick off the “Summer Splash Party.” So don’t forget to bring your swimsuits and towels!
