The Gilroy Chamber of Commerce presents the 25th Annual Garlic City Car Show & Business Expo on Thursday, May 29, 2025, 5:30-8 pm, at Gilroy Gardens! This exciting combined event will bring together spectators to admire custom and classic cars, enjoy local businesses, good food, and more. Attendees can connect with local businesses in a lively and engaging atmosphere. Don’t miss this fantastic day of cars, commerce, and community!

Attendees must have a purchased ticket prior to attending the event. The $10 general admission ticket grants you entry into the Gardens to view the Car Show and Business Expo. BONUS! Gilroy Gardens Premium Pass holders get in free.

About the Garlic City Car Show

The Garlic City Car Show got its start in the year 2000, originally as a kick-off for the Gilroy Garlic Festival. The event has evolved over the years, at some points including a 5K run, a sock hop, and even a hot dog eating contest.

In 2019, the one and only Dennis Gage from My Classic Car attended and filmed for his TV show, which was broadcast to over 100 million homes.

The Garlic City Car Show is an event designed and produced by the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce to promote the community and to help build a strong local economy. Each year this show is made possible by over 50 dedicated volunteers and committee members.
