The September 19 fundraiser at Santana Row will celebrate the best of Santa Clara Valley wine country with exceptional local wines, regional cuisine, live entertainment and exclusive experiences featuring renowned wine educator and Master Sommelier David Glancy.
SAN JOSE, Calif. — The Wineries of Santa Clara Valley will host the 5th Annual Vine to Wine on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Santana Row Plaza, bringing together award-winning wines, exceptional cuisine, live entertainment, and one of the nation's most respected wine educators for an unforgettable evening celebrating Santa Clara Valley Wine Country.
Headlining this year's event is Master Sommelier David Glancy, founder and Chief Education Officer of the San Francisco Wine School. Glancy will host an exclusive VIP Reception from 4:00–5:00 p.m. on the patio at Vintage Wine Bar. Limited to just 125 guests, the reception includes a sparkling wine welcome, curated tastings from Santa Clara Valley wineries, light bites, and an opportunity to interact with one of the country's leading wine experts.
Glancy will also headline the Grand Harvest Dinner, where he'll guide guests through an engaging exploration of wine and food pairings alongside local winemakers. Throughout the evening, he'll share stories that connect the region's wines, vineyards, and rich agricultural heritage with the flavors of the dinner, making wine education approachable, entertaining, and memorable.

The main celebration begins at 5:00 p.m. and continues through 9:30 p.m., transforming Santana Row Plaza into an elegant outdoor wine country experience. Guests will enjoy unlimited tastings from more than 20 Santa Clara Valley wineries, live music, interactive experiences, and opportunities to support the future of the region's wine industry.
The evening also features a Grand Harvest Dinner showcasing two authentic paellas prepared live, accompanied by tapas, fresh salad, and dessert. Throughout the night, guests can participate in the popular Cellar Bottle Spin, where every spin offers the chance to win premium wines valued between $40 and $100 per bottle, while the Live Fundraising Auction will feature exclusive travel experiences, wine packages, and one-of-a-kind offerings.
Live entertainment will include Asher Stern performing during the VIP Reception and Matt Masih & The Messengers providing the soundtrack for the evening's festivities on the Main Plaza Patio.
More than a celebration of local wine, Vine to Wine serves as the Wineries of Santa Clara Valley's premier annual fundraiser. Proceeds support scholarships for aspiring enologists, viticulturists, winery professionals, wine educators, and wine stewards, while also funding regional marketing initiatives and efforts to preserve and promote the rich wine and agricultural heritage of Santa Clara Valley.
