Outdoor Adventures Await
If your group is looking for a little more adventure on your visit to Gilroy, we have some great options available! You can take a hike at one of our beautiful nearby county parks, at Henry W. Coe State Park, or the Pinnacles National Park—about an hour’s drive from Gilroy.
You can also book a horseback trail ride at Mt. Madonna Stables and explore Mt. Madonna’s beautiful redwood forests and grassy meadows on horseback. (May be closed due to weather.)

Gilroy Girlfriends’ Getaway Itinerary
Before you visit:
- Book your rooms at a comfortable hotel
- Book your group’s party at Flawless Beauty Bar
- Make a reservation at the winery of your choice (may be required, especially if your group is 6 or more people)
Day 1
- Arrive in the evening and check into your hotel.
- Head downtown for dinner at the historic Old City Hall restaurant, where the old city hall and a local fire station were once housed.
- After dinner, stroll downtown and grab a drink at one of our unique breweries or tap rooms.
Day 2:
- Get your morning started at Fifth Street Coffee downtown.
- Explore downtown’s shops, the Paseo, a walkway (between Fifth and Sixth Streets on Monterey Street) with several colorful panels filled with Gilroy’s rich history, and get a picture of the garlic mural on 5th St. and Monterey St.
- Head over to Flawless Beauty Bar for your group’s party. Relax and enjoy!
- Time for lunch! Drive over to Westside Grill for lunch. If the weather is nice, dine al fresco on the patio. (Hint: Order one of their delicious cocktails, too!)
- Head to your winery reservation and relax while sipping and visiting with your group.
- Return to your room for some much-needed R&R.
- Visit Tempo Kitchen & Bar for dinner. They often have live music & evening events. Check their events page before your visit.
- Enjoy a good night’s rest!
Day 3:
- After sleeping in, check out of your hotel and visit Cafe 152 Bread Company downtown for coffee and breakfast.
- Head to the Gilroy Premium Outlets to do your shopping. Grab a unique snack or lunch here before you go.
- Don’t forget to stop in at the California Welcome Center Gilroy (located in Building A of the outlets, near Forever 21) for some souvenirs and to pick up some brochures to plan your next visit to Gilroy!
