Outdoor Moments & Memories: Hikes & Bike Rides
With spring flowers and moderate temperatures, this is the perfect opportunity to spend time together outdoors. Take the whole family on a simple walk or bike ride on a paved path at Uvas Creek Levee path in town or at the Martin Murphy Loop at the Coyote Lake Harvey Bear Park. Sipping Moments & Memories: Wineries of Santa Clara Valley
Extend your wonderful wine experiences throughout spring and summer. Many of our local wineries have live music and even some delicious dishes to compliment your wine tasting. Gilroy even has several family-friendly wineries. Be sure to check with each winery for their most up-to-date guidelines on bringing kids, and remember those that welcome kids require they stay in the outdoor seating areas with supervision and seated at the table. Exciting Moments & Memories: Gilroy Gardens
Plan the perfect vacation for your family to Gilroy and visit Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park to make lasting memories. They are open weekends through June 5, and beginning June 10, they are open on weekdays (Mondays-Fridays) from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays & Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. There are rides for all ages and thrill levels, and spending time in such a magical place strolling through the beautiful gardens and past the interesting Circus Trees will provide memories for years to come. Whether you ride the carousel or the roller coaster, paddle a swan boat across the pond, or take a drive in a classic car, there are enough things to do here for the whole family. And on May 28, just in time for Memorial Day weekend, the exciting Water Oasis Waterpark opens! The park will be open on Memorial Day, May 30, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
